Lucca, important provincial capital, has an excellent geographical position: it's 20 km from Pisa, 70 km from Florence, 25 from Viareggio (that is Lucca's provincia ) and about 100 from Massa. Lucca's province borders with Pisa, Florence, Pistoia and Massa's provinces, and occupies, Tuscany's northern end.

Getting to the city is quite simple even from far away because it's near one of the two main airports in the center of Italy.
