Lucca Ciclo-Cross The town of Lucca warmly welcomes all the participants: from the athletes and the managers of sports societies to everyone arriving from Italy and from all the other nations in the world. The place where the races take place is fascinating and the fatigue of those competing in this difficult sport is alleviated by the surrounding panorama that is unique in the world for the exceptional features. Cyclo-cross is normally practised in the open countryside or on the hills, and this environment fully exalts racing in a historical centre of a town that is a true jewel. A considerable effort is necessary in order to obtain a successful event, hoping that everyone will leave with a sweet memory of Lucca. |
