Ormai consacrati dal successo delle gare precedenti, gli spalti e la cortina delle mura urbane tornano ad essere lo splendido scenario del Giro d'Italia 2009 Cross.

La città, infatti, ospiterà la prima tappa della competizione nazionale di specialità che prenderà il via domenica 15 novembre da Lucca, appunto, per concludersi a Verbania il 13 dicembre dopo le prove di Modena (22 novembre), Faè Di Oderzo (Treviso) l'8 dicembre e di Borgosesia (Vicenza) il 12 dicembre.
